Spray Tan Pre Care
Pre care is a very important step to a perfect looking spray tan. Follow these steps to ensure your tan is as gorgeous as you!
- Shave & exfoliate 24-48hrs prior
- Lightly moisturise any dry areas (elbows, knees, ankles etc) the morning of your appointment
- Do not wear deodorant the day of your appointment (deodorant can cause the underarms to go green)
- Ensure you wear light flowy clothing, a dress is best. We recommend no bra or underwear post tan.
- Wear shoes you can easily slip on & off, no enclosed shoes.
- Avoid showering directly before your tan appointment, this can leave residual heat in the body & cause the tan to not stick properly. Shower the morning of or night before you if you have a morning appointment.
Spray Tan After Care
Spray tan aftercare is just as important as pre care! Follow these steps to get longevity out of your bronzed body!
- Do not use any soaps or face washers/loofas during your first shower post tan. This can prematurely exfoliate the tan off. Just let the water run over the skin for 3-5 minutes.
- Moisturise everyday to avoid the tan cracking or flaking as sometimes tan can dry out the skin.
- Do not use any exfoliating products or gloves until you're wanting to remove your tan.
- Excessive sweating can remove your tan quicker.
- Tans will last 7-10 days if correct pre & post care is followed!
